Kim Powell

Kim joined the Financial Plan family in 2022 following a rewarding career with Lynden Christian Schools. Kim’s diverse background includes work as a Human Resource Specialist, Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, AND small business owner, making her a valuable member of our skilled Operations team.

Kim has two daughters, Adrianna and Alexa, who both graduated from Lynden Christian before attending Grand Canyon University in Arizona. They are now spreading their wings and embarking on new adventures, including parenthood (Kim’s first grand daughter was born in 2025!)

Growing up primarily in Canada, Kim would spend her summers in Arkansas with her extended family. She obtained a degree in Psychology from Trinity Western and later, a BS in Education from WWU. Now, with her home base in Lynden, Kim has a variety of hobbies and enjoys being outdoors. She plays golf, pickleball, and can always be found with a good book.
