David Dick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has been at Financial Plan, Inc. since March of 2000, becoming a partner in 2003. He works with high net-worth clientele across the country and has developed a specialty working with Foundations, Endowments and non-profit organizations. David also has developed a niche for helping women navigating major and unexpected changes in their life journey.
David graduated with honors from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. Prior to joining Financial Plan, Inc., he worked as a Director for an international non-profit organization, serving in 47 different countries. Through his travels, David had the honor of meeting with Mother Teresa at her home in Calcutta, as well as with the former Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey. The most impactful encounter during this time, however, was meeting his wife of over 25 years, Bonnie.
David is grateful that he, Bonnie, and their 3 children settled in Whatcom County and are now able to enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing on the river and crabbing in the bay. His other passions include drumming in all kinds of musical genres and cooking; more specifically meat smoking. If you attend one of our many client events, chances are you’ll be sampling his creations.
