Mailinh Vu

Mailinh (or “Mai” for short) came to Financial Plan immediately following her graduation from Biola University in Southern California where she earned her degree in business administration with a concentration in financial planning and a minor in biblical studies. She felt pulled toward the personal finance industry as a way to help others achieve their goals. Stemming from her upbringing, her parents emphasized the importance of financial literacy from a young age, and Mai enjoyed the ”work” of finance as well as the ability to take that stress off others and enable them to pursue more of what brings them happiness.

Mai is a bright new star on our advisory team who brings fresh perspective and competencies to the group. Growing up on a golf course in Arlington, she is also an accomplished golfer, competing through both high school and college. Financial Plan is proud to have a new “ringer” on our advisory AND golf teams.

In addition to golf, Mai enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, pickleball and paddleboarding. When she’s not at Financial Plan, you can find her moonlighting as a swing instructor at Bogey’s Indoor Golf in Arlington, so pay her a visit next time you’re looking to perfect your swing.
