Not to blow our own horn too loudly, but we have managed to thrive while many other investment services firms have faltered. Over the past few years investors fled some brokerages and banks who have demonstrated their financial incompetence with their own insolvency.

Meanwhile, our investment philosophy and service offering have inspired confidence in our clients who have introduced their friends and colleagues to us. We thank you for those introductions; they are the source of all of our business.

An advisor who energetically provides a comprehensive financial planning experience can service perhaps 100 to 150 households. Our client base has now grown to over 400. Clearly we have a need for a third advisor.

Enter Devin Wolf. Devin graduated from Carroll College in Helena Montana in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. At Carroll, he met Jamie and Jeanne’s daughter Stephanie, and they were married in 2006. For the past five years he has worked in Sumner for the engineering firm Parametrix, becoming a key player in that firm.

While at Parametrix Devin was influential in managing the company 401k plan. Because of his aptitude and experience with investment matters, he became a valuable source of investment information for his coworkers. The investment field has always been of interest to him, and now he has decided to make it his career.

Over the past few months he has taken and passed the Series 7 (stock brokerage) exam, the Washington State Life and Health Insurance exam, the Series 66 Blue Sky laws exam, and the Series 31 Managed Futures exam. He was registered with LPL Financial in June and started with Financial Plan on July 1. Initially Devin will be learning all aspects of our practice and studying for the CFP certification. He will also be sitting in on annual reviews and service meetings; gathering and updating client data and assisting with account rebalancing and securities research.
